Day 24 of 35: Chapter 3: A ‘Pied Piper’ cruise

Today we had our last breakfast at The Late Birds & bid farewell to their kind & charming staff. We loaded our packed suitcases into an Uber & wove through the streets of Lisbon to the cruiseport. We had a 1-hour window to arrive at the ship & were happy to make it. I was congested & had loaded up at a farmacia so was happy to be well enough to sail.

Our “sail-away” from Lisbon was exciting, as they often are. We had great views of Lisbon & of its iconic bridge as we began our 10- day cruise in the Western Mediterranean.
