Days 1-4 of 35: SR -SF – DBR

Day 1: we traveled from Santa Rosa to San Francisco so we could attend social group meetings & see close friends. We did a little gardening work on the decks in SF.

Day 2: Cal sang the regular Sunday Eucharist at Grace Cathedral, we had lunch, visited Bill’s house that’s up for sale, & visited Cal’s wonderful neighbors the Klemans. Stayed up too late, doing final packing.

Days 3 & 4: Flew coast to coast & continent to contingent. We got up at 5:30 AM (groan) & flew from SFO to Newark, then on to Dubrovnik where we’re staying at the City Hotel. A long day of nothing but flights & airports ( 20.5 hours door to door) and we arrived pretty tired. Took a nap! Woke up to get some groceries, had an excellent dinner of pizza (Bill) & grilled sea bass (Cal). Phoned Mom to let her know we’d arrived safely. Now for the big sleep crash!
