Day 23 of 35: Lisbon day 3

Well, today held true to John Lennon’s lyrics from “Dating Boy”: “Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans.” We were going to take another bus tour today & do various other things, but I came down with a sinus infection. This often happens when I travel, so I brought some amoxycilin with me this time. I visited a local farmacia & got some other meds as well. So we spent the day in the peace & quiet of our lovely gay B&B:”The Late Birds” while waiting for the meds to do their magic.

While we were there, the BnB was hosting an exhibition of homoerotic art by 2 gay artists – one from the Ukraine & one from Russia. Some photos of their works are shown above; others below. These are just a few of the less graphic from the 100 or so paintings on display. I’ll measure my walls when we get home & see if there’s room for any of them.
